According to information provided by the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Belarusian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergei Aleinik met with the outgoing Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Tajikistan to Belarus, Mahmadsharif Hakdod, on June 6.
The parties conferred on the current status of Belarus-Tajikistan relations as well as their future potential. The expansion of industrial cooperation and the intensification of commercial exchanges between the two countries were given a lot of priority.
The parties underlined their willingness to continue to increase the political discourse and economic cooperation, as well as their willingness to collaborate closely within the framework of international organizations, particularly integration groups such as the CIS, CSTO, and SCO.
Sergei Aleinik extended his gratitude to the ambassador for all of the major work he had done to advance the relationship between Belarus and Tajikistan.
